: Where can I remount an ice skate blade holder?

Just curious, is there a good reputable place that I can go to remount the holder for the skate?

Looking to add maybe some shims/adjustment to fix a pronation issue that orthotics didn't help. Currently as it is the skate fits my foot itself near-perfectly, but where I put my weight on the feet is inside of the blade thanks to a collapse arch, meaning my right skate would pronate everytime I put weight on it and make it hard to use the outside edge where as my left foot has no such issue. Anyone else have experience with that issue?

The main 3 I would use are the hockey shop, ice level, or cyclone taylors for that kind of work.

Any reputable shop should figure this out, but just in case, make sure that the shims are added on the outside part of the holder. I echo the 3 recommendations above.

For custom fitting and adjustments I would recommend -

Scoffs Hockey Shop 3951 Hastings st in Burnaby 604 298 5630 - (Jason or Lloyd)

Been to all reputable shops for custom work but the best work and most knowledgeable staff came from Scoffs. (Had Scoffs redo the work other shops had done to my skate, best choice ever :) )
