I was at a BBQ today and this bee was attacking me because I was holding food, and I tried to swat it away with my hands. I connected and one of my fingers caught the bee's stinger and broke it off the bee. The stringer was jabbed into my finger and my friend had to pull it out.

Now my finger hurts like hell and swelled up. I took some reactine and iced it, but it hurts like hell when I don't put ice on it.

Anything else I should do besides icing it to relieve the pain?

This should go away in a few days?? =/

I've used baking soda and water mixed to a paste since I was a kid. You let it dry and leave it on. It takes all the sting out. Great for kids too.
