I tried making a reservation for Italian Kitchen for a party of 25 people, but they asked me to put a $500 deposit + pick a set dinner menu... I don't really want to force all my friends to be eating the same appy, main course, and dessert. Does anyone know any good restaurants downtown that can accommodate a large party?? Thanks!

Try Capone's in Yaletown.

They're permanently closed according to Dinehere & Urbanspoon. Their website is gone too

Moxie's? I know their food isn't the greatest but I do believe they cater to larger parties (we've had a party of 15~18 before and it was fine with them).

I think most of the "higher end" restaurants will have some sort of set menu if it's going to be a large group... never organized for that big a party though so I never knew about the deposit thing. Ill keep a look and ear out for you.

Go to Italian Kitchen. They're reputable and part of a bigger group.

I always get hook ups there anyways =D
