Hey guys,

I posted this in the subaru tech section, but never got any results. I apologize for posting again, in a new thread. (please delete the other)

My grandmother is getting screwed around by the subaru dealership here in richmond, for her 92 subaru legacy wagon. It needs some work and the dealership is giving her the run around. I'm not familiar with the subaru scene here. I'm looking for the subaru shop equivalent of something like PG Performance for VW/audi/etc.

Preferably around Richmond, but I'm willing to travel as far as need be to find someone trustworthy that knows their stuff.

Any tips? thanks.

What is wrong with the car?

I go to GroundZero Auto Solutions across from the Bridgeport Enterprise Rent-a-car.
The mechanic's name i Jason, he is a man of few words, but is a good/honest mechanic.

Both my friend and i (we both drive legacy) bring our cars to him.

Sorry to threadjack, but I'm in a similar situation. But I need someone that works on Nissans, Richmond as well. Anyone have any recommendations for someone they know? I have an Altima 2.5 and I need some body work done.

bodywork and mechanical work are two entirely different things. I recommend to do a search on body shops, there should be a lot of recommendations. you shouldn't need a body shop that does specific makes.

I always brought my subaru to KON autos on clark and venables. They only work on volvos and subarus and the owner always takes care of my car like his own.

Kon Auto at the corner of Venables and Clark specializes in Volvo and Subaru.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm also looking for a new Nissan mechanic as well though, I can't find my guy anymore :(

my shop of choice. Gold Wrench Automotives in North Van.

I've seen plenty of subarus there.

They work on all makes and models. small to large jobs.
