I always hear that Ninja 250s can be found for cheap, but I haven't seen one this cheap before at $2900.

Not a motorcycle or scooter, but a good deal on a quality lid. Scorpion EXO-1000 Helmets from SportbikeTrackGear.com
$125 for a Scorpion EXO-1000. They have since made the EXO-1100, but the 1000 has the same features less ECE approval.
