Apologies for the vague title, but I"m considernig purchasing a set of c63 2012 LED taillights for my 09 c63, however, i've noticed that there is an issue where the drivers side taillight has its foglights on permanently and the lighting levels are wonky as well.
What I was wondering is if anyone here knows a mercedes tech who would be able to resolve this issue?
I think adding resistors will fix that problem....I plan to get LED tails for my car...and from reading on the MBworld forums, they say to add in resistors etc....
are you judging from the picture or is there an actual real-life problem??
That pic maybe because of camera angle.

From what I've read it seems to be a common problem with simply swapping out the 09 tails with the 2012 LED tails. For euro cars its the right foglight bar for north american seems to be the left foglight bar.
And apparently the only way to install it without the tails throwing errors is to get someone with star diagnostics to install it properly. There's a guy in seattle who is offering his services, but requires the car to be down there for at least a day.
Flying Tiger = Eddie has a STAR unit...he can reprogram for you.
