Why does this not exist? Do not very many people use Linux? I've just installed Ubuntu Netbook remix and am duel booting with Win 7 on a Netbook.
It's pretty snappy in comparison to Win 7 but I'm a Linux noob.
Who else is running Linux? Got any amazing resources for coding/setuping up to work well? Right now I'm trying to find out how to access my files on Win 7 as I really can't figure out how!

I install and maintain CentOS servers, but I sure as hell don't use Linux for my workstation.

I use Ubuntu on my travel laptop and as a backup OS but I don't use it as my primary, too many of my programs are Windows-only so that kinda kills it for me. For basic browsing and such I prefer it cause I find it's a lot faster.
You should be able to get to your Win7 partition once you "mount" the drive. Hit places, then select it, then it should pop open

Whatever you do, don't configure your mount table to try to auto-mount your drives at startup. Mine went corrupted, and I still haven't gotten around to fix it.
You can get everything you need from their app centre.

^ system requirement for ubuntu is much higher than other Linux variants, however other than gaming. Ubuntu pretty much owns Win7. Agreed?
btw, I have a quad boot system. (winxp, win7(64bit), ubuntu 10.4, OSX) arrrrh...Ubuntu's boot manager is fucking awesome.
