not sure who plays right now so post up your characters, server, etc! maybe we can make a revscene guild if we got enough people and have meets on our mounts :D i'm with the horde right now but maybe we can decide on which one we can all play on and level as group? anyways

i don't play all the time though, i play on my free time which is kinda random. i don't want to pay to play, when i only play a few times.. i used to play retail though. it was fun when i had the time for it

as if it wasn't difficult enough to find a healer/tank in the official server...there's only 2000 people per server LOL.

The private servers back in the day used to be really poorly constructed and maintained... I wonder how it is noW :O

Gonna bump this old ass thread. Anybody still playing? I just started. Uses to play retail but I lose and regain interest periodically can't really justify paying the price.

I'm on horde side lordeon 1x exp.

Have to say having play retail before this is not bad, especially for the price.

I have no idea wat u are talking about but the server I'm in right now is the closest to playing retail as it can get.... You can't buy a lot of the end games stuff like the other servers and everything from drop rate to exp is just like the way blizz setup

I have the same problem.. Always losing and regaining interest once in a while. Stopped playing for about a year, want to get back to it so I'll just try this instead. I can't justify paying for a month and maybe playing only a few days out of that month either.

And thanks for putting up this thread! I did not know about molten-wow.

I'm starting to look at this too now. Wondering what rate server I should play on. 3x sounds like a nice balance of realism and not dedicating a ton of time to the game

there's no hacks lol. just different rates. there's a 1x server which is really close to retail

I try the 3x as much as I don't like leveling with anything other than 1x server nobody bother to do any of the lower instance. Something to keep in mind if u have never experience the lower lv instance.

Played this game for at least 3 years.. Been on and off last year so I wouldn't count that one. Would you think you would pay an extra $15 for something you spent hundreds on already and knowing you wouldn't play that full month? Probably not because it sounds like a waste of money doesn't it. Just sayin'. Why don't you help us pay that $15 for the subscription? lol

Why don't you think of it as an hourly rate. You pay almost $7/hr for a movie (more if it's 3D, and even more if you buy popcorn), so why wouldn't you pay $1.5/hr for a game if you play for even just 10 hours?

ah, touché. lol but I have no one to play with on real WoW anymore and friends don't want to pay either.
