| Trailer Skyline into the US
Has anyone trailered or driven their Skyline GT-R into Washington state? I'm curious to know what (if anything) the U.S. authorities say? It that allowed?

many people drive them into WA....so with the paperwork you should not have problem trailering it down.

^ like he said. When I go down, I frequently see RHD drive cars. No issues, other than the guy sometimes has to get out of his car to give the customs officer his passport, lol.

Other than the passport, do they check any paperwork for the car since it's obviously not a North American spec vehicle?

As long as the car is legally insured in Canada, there should be no problem. They may ask a few questions about why it's being trailered into the states, but if you're not selling it, you'll be fine. Just make sure you have the insurance papers for it. Posted via RS Mobile |

I drove my skyline down to the states one-two times a week when I had it. Never had an issue, they kind of knew who I was by the car I drove haha.
Prepare for everyone to stare when you do take it down.
Haven't heard of it happening here, but back east apparently they make you sign a waiver saying you're not driving down to sell your car.

I had talked to a DMCC pro driver who had taken various RHDs down to the states for various auto shows and said he had no problems whatsoever, but his friends had driven down to LA to be in a movie with their cars and we're going to be paid....they told customs this and they flipped shit on them. Forget what happened, but just don't bring up any jobs or anything if thats the case. "Pleasure"
