EDIT: Wow, fail me now! Can't edit titles! Thats what I get for posting in a non-honda forum! Title should include Acura Integra! Sorry for assuming everyone knows!
CAR IS AN ACURA INTEGRA! 89 Special Edition!
269K
5Spd
Rebuild head (new valve seals, new valves, etc) - previously blew an exhaust valve
New headstuds
New gaskets all around
NO CEL (not a bonus, but just a requirement :P )
Brakes are in average condition (replaced within a year or so)
No leaking inside
Some rust, will get pictures if requested.
Some rare (and questionably valuable parts)
- OEM optional front lip
- OEM optional side skirts
- OEM optional sunroof visor
- OEM equalizer inside the car (useless, but bling factor!)
CONS:
smokes a bit on startup, the valve seals need to seat properly and some oil seeps through overnight, doesnt leak during operating temperature. If you install a block heater and keep the engine warm it might avoid this. Not sure what to think of it.... I just got it back from the machine shop last month and it has been doing this. I have been told the only problem is that you might have to add a bit of oil every now and then... Please PM if you wish to discuss.
RPM needle is not functioning properly. The wire that goes from the dizzy-cluster I believe isnt working properly. The needle jumps sporadically when I am at a constant speed. It is not a slipping clutch, rather a bad gauge needle. Might be the gauge? I don't have a friend who can swap one out with me.
Rust is a little bit behind the sideskirts and around the rear quarter panel. Honestly, it is very good for its age, definitely in the top 10% when it comes to rust. I will get pics, like I said, to whomever wishes to see.
Trunk window has been smashed (many years ago) and instead of replacing the window, the previous owner replaced the entire hatch. Therefore, it says SPECIAL and RS, kind of weird but invisible to the untrained eye.
Seats have rips. I don't know what acura was thinking but these seats have less durability than a rice cracker.
Some paint chips on the rear bumper, and some even slighter on the front.
PROS:
Aftermarket pioneer deck with a remote control (so your friends in the back can change the music if they dont like it

)
Security (Discussed with buyer/potential buyers)
32-38 MPG (depends on your driving habits TBH, I find it almost amazing)
Good tires, OEM Gold SE blades
No leaks on the inside, interior is in about 6-8/10 condition depending on your personal attention to detail.
PRICE:
I have priced it at 1500$ because I am furious I spent about 700$ on rebuilding the head and putting it all back together. I have a complete list of machine shop work, acura parts, etc etc that I can present. I understand the price might need some adjusting but please let me know what you think is reasonable!!!! There are only 1-2 for sale in vancouver and they are rustbuckets that are ready to throw a rod at your passenger and moment!
Thank you for viewing, some pictures! (I have the center caps btw)
Just an idea how much I love this car, and I would really only sell it to a fellow enthusiast! =(
If you wish to test drive it, you must let me know. I will charge you for the one day permit (28$). If you decide to buy the car, I will reduce it from the sell price (equal to a reimbursement). I am selling this car due to a financial struggle and don't have time to spend a few hundred dollars so people can enjoy the car for a 10 minute drive. I think if you are a serious buyer, this shouldn't be a problem, and reducing it from the final price seems fair.
The block in the car
Head on the ground
Burnt valve.... You can see the damn hole!
HEAD REBUILT!
Head on the car
And some of the car.
