If we are not able to ask skeptical questions, to interrogate those who tell us that something is true; to be skeptical of those in authority, then we're up for grabs..

She taught me right from wrong and always told me to stay positive and help others no matter how small the deed - that helping others gives us meaning to carry on. The sun is out today and it's a new day. Life is good. I just needed a slap in the face.
Basic Gist:
Those that didnt see or read his blog.
His Genesis started to drop RPM and engine starting dying. Hyundai asked him to prove it in which he did with his video blackbox but they refused to acknowledge it as a problem and blamed him as an inexperienced driver.
He then demonstrate/protest at Seoul Motor Show where he was promised a replacement car. Later on Hyundai took back their word and asked him to pay for the exchange.
So he then went to Shanghai Motor Show and demo/protested there, where hyundai finally offered him new car. He got the car and turns out that car was also a lemon. Also suspected that it was a fixed up car made to look like new.
Obviously Hyundai denies all the claims and such.
Tl;Dr: Guy gets lemon Gensis replaced with another lemon suspected of being it a 'fixed up' used car and is refused any warranty work, problems acknowledged.
FYI: In - Korea bought Hyundais dont have nearly as good warranty coverage as overseas.
he was a used car salesman so he knows some stuff about cars too.
Openroad Hyundai sold me genesis with cracked windshield that was patched up, already had 800km on it (according to KT new cars are supposed to have less then 50km) and didn't give me iPod cable that was supposed to come with it Posted via RS Mobile
Is it true that in korea they sell subpar cars to their citizens and offer better stuff for overseas market?
ive heard this before. people in korea dont own cars older than 4 years, so they apparently dont build their cars with top quality parts. not sure if its true

The same applies to any products, be it phones, televisions, food, etc. built or manufactured by a Korean conglomerate and sold within their domestic market.
Ask Alphamale. I'm sure he'd love to tell you all about it.
