A teenager has been airlifted to hospital after a stabbing in Maple Ridge.

Two other people have been taken to hospital as well, after an incident at a house near Kanaka Way and 237th Street.

The emergency services originally wanted a second air ambulance, but canceled it when a second victim's wounds proved to be not as serious as originally believed.

A third person has stab wounds to the hand.

The stabbing occurred at about nine o'clock Saturday night in Maple Ridge and the RCMP are still investigating.

Was playing some tennis with my brother at that time and saw shit loads of helicopters fly by and sirens, so thought something was wrong... apparantly a 16yr old kid is seriously injured and got stabbed in the neck (According to the television news), two of them (including the one who got stabbed in the neck) goes to my little bros school, stupid lowlives in ridge these days

no surrey is still surrey

and it surprises me that he got stabbed in the neck, most people that handle a knife will

tend to aim for the stomach instead of aiming higher, especially from a teen . . .

Kids are getting stupider and more reckless, they really don't understand how precious life is and don't understand you only get one shot at living. They just don't think about the consequences.

My buddy lives right on Kanaka, just a few houses down from the school. Right when I got to his place, around 8:50ish, is when all the police start showin' up.

I haven't seen that many cops cars in a loooong time. We hung around and watched the Air Ambulance land/take off at the school. Glad they caught the person, it was a bit freaky leaving his place at like 2:30, with the thick fog around, as I didn't know at the time they caught the guy. :heckno:

I've never liked Ridge, and I don't need anymore reasons not to.

Who the fuck stabs someone in the neck?! :(

Its good to keep your kids in check, but at the same time, you have to let them have a social life

When I was 16 I spent two weeks backpacking across Europe with another friend from high school.

The following year when I was 17 I drove to LA and lived in my VW van by the ocean for a week before driving back.

Respect.

When I was 16, my parents shit their pants went I had to drive in the snow for the first time. They made it seem like I had to barrel roll my car over a frozen lake, and navagate 12ft snow drifts of something.

Not that it really matters, but both my 'rents are white. Being the oldest though, I never got to do things most others did. My younger sibling though... had it waaaay easier.
