They kept the original characters and obviously used different actors, it's terrible. How the fuck did they pitch this?
The better move would've been if another group found Columbus' list and decided to add on to it.

they shouldn't have used the same characters either imo just the same world
and its toooo low budget studio comedy, i expected to hear a laugh track

they didn't
it's part of the Amazon clips where bunch of shows put out a pilot and from reviews/views they order more episodes.

I actually enjoyed the opening sequence. But yeah, it's just not the same without the original actors. And what happened to the double tap rule? Zombies going down without headshots or anything like that...
Scratch the TV series and bring back a movie sequel. In the long run I think it'll be a better money maker for them.
