Men In High Heels | Christian Louboutin Heels | Stacked High Heels (http://www.shefinds.com/2011/stilettos-now-the-hottest-trend-in-mens-footwear-much-to-christian-louboutins-chagrin/)
In highly contradictory recent news, Christian Louboutin told Vogue UK that women wear high heels primarily because men don’t, while the New York Times just ran a feature on the uptick in men’s stilettos. Louboutin said, “There is an element of seduction in shoes that doesn’t exist for men.[...]A woman can be sexy, charming, witty or shy with her shoes. Shoes for men are about elegance or wealth; they are not playing with the inner character.” Last week’s New York Times article, however, begs to differ.
Fags!

If lipstick, g-strings and high heels were so great, men would be wearing them.
There's a reason we wear hoodies, jeans and runners. Cause it feels good and we're not going to cave to societal norms.
*sigh*

I disagree.
I LOVE being able to adjust my height to what ever I like (down to my own flat footed height at least).
I had a big meeting the other day that I wanted to come to in a position of power and control. I'm 5'10. I throw on some 4 inch heels (my queen of the castle shoes as my co worker calls them) and I'm taller then pretty much everyone in the room, men significantly older and more accustom to looking down at women have to look up to me. This works amazingly well.
When I go into a meeting to be diplomatic, or mediate an issue from a softer side I wear flats. I alter my wardrobe to reflect this. This also works amazingly well.
You guys... you get suits and loafers. I would argue that if suits and loafers were so great women would wear them. We don't.
I love having these kind of tools available to me. <3 it.
That said. Guys wearing a slight lift on a boot I can live with. I'm a very liberal person and even I'm gonna draw the line on my boyfriend borrowing my heels outside of Halloween or odd theme parties.

Blah blah blah
Women only wear high heels because of Lordosis behaviour. I like it when a woman tries to sound smart.

Isn't it the social norm for men to wear hoodies and jeans, not high heels and makeup?

Oh god...they won't stop. Clothing and make-up companies desparately want to turn men into mini-women.
Why? So they can instantly double the potential market for their shit.
Heed me now: Just say no to guyliner.

He and I are about the same height bare foot, maybe I'm a smidge taller, I never really measured.
