No one posted this up yet.. but incase fellow RS'ers are interested..

Menus | Yaletown Business Improvement Association (http://yaletowninfo.com/events/taste-of-yaletown/menus/)

I haven't gone to taste of yaletown nor dine out van in years....

3-4 years ago, it seemed these restaurants offered really cheap and good meals to draw in new customers.... but over the last while it just seems to be a money grab for the industry....
(ex. you can get an appy, entree, and dessert off their regular menu for the same price as the prefix dineout menus....)

What do you guys think???

Over the last few years I have started going to these things less and less. The thing that bugs me the most is after looking at the menu for a bunch of places they all seem the same to me. A lot of the options are the same but just at a different place. Plus sometimes I find a place I really want to try and the appy and desert may not seem so appealing. I rather just go on my own and pay $20-$30 for any entree I want from their full menu, fuck the desert cause I don't care and share an appy with the gf. Ends up being around the same price be it for a bit less food but at least I can order anything I want and not limited to a few shitty choices.

Nope, tried it last year and it was horrible. No reservations for this year.

I'm taking my bf to Brix for taste of Yaletown.

Reviews?

Any recommendations if we decide to order off the regular menu?
