Anyone know of any 24 hour coffee places in the Vancouver area? I know of the two Blenz in Richmond. The Grind in Vancouver is now closed at 12 every night. What else?

Breka at 49th and Fraser. Pretty good place to study if you get a comfy seat. Tables are a bit small though.

Used to be 24hr then it switched to closing at 12. Then the new owners brought back 24hr but then he told us he was losing way too much money, so it went back to closing at 12. It's been like that for at least 1 1/2 years now.

+1 for Calhoun's! It is still one of my favorite hangout spots in Vancouver. decent food/desserts as well - and one of the few cafes that have mugs for their coffee.
I've found years ago - that sometimes going at like 3 in the morning to study, they sometimes play weird music - like hard metal rock... But just ask them to change it, and I'm sure they will.

bean around the world on broadway and main. not sure if they have wifi though, but no god damn outlets either. Tims is also 24/7. There's a waves on lonsdale that I believe is 24/7, same with the waves on hastings and I believe abbot? They might be a blendz, always get the two confused.

Probably not the hottest restaurant around...but the McDonalds on Aderbridge X Hazebridge.
- 24 hours
- Free Wifi
- Lots of Parking
- A room just for people to "study" all with individual outlets

W. Broadway is all free parking in that area, no?

It's meter parking all along Broadway. It'll be free parking after 10, or you can just park on 10th, which is a block south. I believe 8th Ave is all resident only parking, but you can check there. Expect to walk a block or two if you're looking for parking during the day.

Weird. Mind you, it's been years since I've been there so I guess my memory is simply finally failing. :lol

It changed a few years back. I can't remember when. When I first started Uni, it was free parking - that was a long time ago. Don't worry, it's not just you. hahaha.
