Peppermint mocha was actually pretty decent, the dark chocolate curls are pretty good.
Personally don't care for any of the others.

When I use to buy coffee often, she would ask me if I wanted the usual. And then I give her exact change, down to the penny. But not anymore since I haven't had starbucks in awhile. :(

^ They dont even acknowledge registered starbucks cards when paying. Cause with a registered gift card you can get a free pump of syrup.

I told the maid that my caramel machatto was not sweet enough... she said i would be charged extra if i want it any sweeter. I point to the sign that says "if your drink is not perfect, we will make you a new one". She adds a few drizzle of caramel on it and now that sign dont exist anymore :fuckthatshit:

That location is probably a licensed store like the ones at safeway or at the ubc sub so they don't go along with promotions and can get away with not following company policy. Go to a real starbucks to get better service.

Do you mean peppermint hot chocolate? If so it is a holiday drink, its the same as the peppermint mocha just without the espresso

I remember the last time I took advantage of one of Starbucks' promotions (I think it was half-price fraps in the afternoon), the store was full of Asians and it took like 20 minutes to get my frap made.

I'm all about saving a buck, but my time is worth more than fighting the hordes.

Tim's has $1 French Vanilla Cappuccinos until the end of the month. If you need your sugar rush, it's a pretty decent deal (valid any time so you can skip the lineups)

^You can also get a medium FV Supreme (whipped topping, caramel/chocolate drizzle - not sure) for $1 :)

Similar story happen to me once, i went to a starbucks full of asians and i sorta blended in with the smaller line up, which was the line where you pick up your drinks. The person making the drinks said "What can i get for you?" i said 2 venti green tea frap, Walked out and didnt pay a cent

I always love corporate stores, compared to franchised stores. Whether that be Mcdonalds, starbucks or any other chain, the corporate stores always seem to provide better service and get national promotions.

Damn cheap ass franchise owners and their "we're not participating in that promotion"

Non-franchise starbucks are pretty big on the customer is always right rules and are usually pretty generous, so they can give free drinks, re-make drinks, etc.

Nope, there are licensed stores in the airport, Safeway, and Chapters.
