Big deal, I hardly ever carry cash anymore and I can't even remember the last time I've touched a $100 bill.

And seems like not many places really accept 100s anymore.

Pretty cool. I'll be more interested when the $20 get a release date.
I don't even think I have ever had possession of a $100 bill (since ATM's only give out $20's),
and the only time I get $50 is from red pocket money.
Ideally, I only ever keep up to $20's in my wallet. Makes no sense to carry so much cash.
Exception if I'm going to meet someone for Buy&Sell, but even then, ATM only gives me $20's, so I just bring a lot of 20's.

TD gives $50's but I get the point. $20's are the best but I like a mix of $20's, $50's, and maybe one $100.

I guess this gives some people some more peace of mind when making bigger deals.
Now you don't have really have to ask people to bring a stack of 20's.
Just ask to get some new 100s from the bank

This type of waterproof polymer paper whatever thing was pioneered in Australia in the 90's.. So for our bills, the compound is made in Australia and then the printing process is finished here in Canada.

Same. I only carry $20 for emergencies. I pay everything else by credit card. Much easier to deal with and I improve my credit :fullofwin:

It's a great idea, I love being in Aus and having cash in my pocket while going swimming and not worrying about it.

I think its a good move. There are some infrastructure costs for bank/vending machines, but still good overall.
Regarding the counterfeit-I think the best time you could have is right now. Print it out on a transparency and when people question you, its like, "yeah, they are real bro" and they have no way of knowing. :fullofwin:

Pretty hard to print out a hologram though.
