How do you get them installed with the HICAS controller in the steering wheel?

you mean the hicas sensor? it sits behind the boss kit just like OEM.

There is no controller.

Yeah, I meant to type sensor but 'controller' came out.

lol..yea. the sensor remains at the same position.

Here is the order if you know what I mean:
hicas sensor -> boss kit -> Q/R hub -> steering wheel
