anyone here taken classes at ubc recreation. i took at martial arts class at ubc recr since its the cheapest place to learn and no contract unlike the private companies.
the funny thing is they never check for attendance like who actually registered and paid and who didnt
i wen to the first class and every class. i skip on 2 classes since i had to attend a wedding and another for out trip and every class they never check for attendance. weird hey. i paid for it like 160
you see guys coming in during the middle of week 7,8,9 and then that you never saw before and others who join and come for the first 4 weeks and never come again.or guys come in once in a while like every 3 week. i look into the refund policy too and it doesnt make sense to refund your money. this class was only once a week on a sunday for 2 hours.
im thinking either these guys pay but dont care for their money or guys just join in and dont pay. also there is no drop in or drop in fee
do they pay for it. i dont think so and instructor never checks either too.
