I get what you're saying and I generally live by this philosophy. But, that is only because i've experienced enough to make this my philosophy. When I was in grade 7 everything was bigger and badder than what it really was.

I can't even imagine being bullied in elementary school. Can you imagine? You're 12 years old and everyone makes fun of you? You have no friends? There was this really fat girl in our elementary school. She was picked on everyday and she didn't really have any friends. I look back now and I wish I talked to her more or something. Children are immature and vulnerable. It's just how it is. Being bullied is not something all children can handle.

And it's not as easy as telling yourself not to be a pussy. Telling a child that later in life things will be better isn't really saying much because right now life sucks. It's not as easy as one, two, three
