The Chevron on Steveston and No.5 seems to work great. Better than the washworld at steveston and no.4.

Other than the fact that the garden city and alderbridge car wash is runned by shady people, what is wrong with it?

theres this Italian or iraq dude that is one of the owners. Small guy who drives the matte black lexus es300 (was in "sick cars of vancouver" thread before). He is good friends with a known Big Circle boss called "little black" who is in Richmond alot. That italian/iraq dude i was talking about also has many nice course including a bentley . They prob use the car wash place as a way of laundering money? Cocky people too.

What, you too good for swirl marks and light surface scratches in your paint job?
There are still a couple in Burnaby, not sure about Vancouver.

I have a different problem I don't mind scratch etc on my 20+ year old civic. But it's got some leaks. Going thru a automatic car wash will be like me getting a free shower at the same time. Need those coin op self serve car wash :(

Fuck I had a dream that they made a wand wash right near my house. It was beautiful. So sick of these fucking shit drive through paint ruiners.

At least y'all have wand washes near your houses.
The only wand wash place in South Surrey/White Rock got burnt down (I wonder why...) shortly after they switched owners and the place got so run down that the swivel connection on the ceiling in almost every wash bay was dripping rust water onto the roof of every car.
Safe to say I was pretty fucking pissed, so good riddance I guess. Thankfully the touchless wash at Splashes in South Surrey is probably the best I've ever experienced, albeit somewhat expensive.

I live dt in the west end. There's literally nothing in reasonable distance worth driving to.
I've resorted to the two bucket system. My landlord lets me use hot water from the laundry room.
After the initial purchasing the supplies, I'm saving so much more money over using wand washes. Sure it takes a bit more time and effort, but at least my black car is clean and at a reasonable cost.

I'm in the West End too. I upgraded my parking about a year ago from lot parking outside, to underground parking in my building....and I happen to have a water connection in the spot they gave me :victory:
Before I was "saving money" on the cheaper parking, but then taking my car to a hand wash place to wash it. Now, the price increase per month for the spot is paid for in one wash by me....and I wash about once a week.
Anyone remember that wand wash place up Main St, probably around 23rd and Main? That was so convenient! Now I'm pretty sure it's condos... :okay:
