Website/Email Host down. what do?

My business website and email are both down for about 4 days now and a quick search reveals the problem has been going on for a few weeks and half of their servers are down. Also half of the pages on the host's website are down including all of their support pages.

host is afmu.com

I need to have the email working asap.

what the hell do i do?

Just found this:

"AFMU.com has been victimized by a security hole in WHMCS. This attack has been widespread, and effected many customers of WHMCS. In
order to remove any possibility of future threats, we are reformatting and reimaging all of our servers. We expect this to take the entire
weekend. All of your data is safe and will be restored from backup. We are deeply apologetic for this problem. We shall update this page as more
information is known. "

Use Google Apps for email

Then use HostGator for web hosting.

You just transfer or redirect your domain name to something else. That's the point of owning the domain. No need to change your email address. Being down for a whole day without letting the customer know is unacceptable these days.

Your email will still be the same. You are just using Google's services to access it. Trust me, there is nothing better than google when it comes to email. Ask the 260 million people who use it

You would even have a gmail interface, so no more need for crappy email clients (of course if you prefer you can continue to use them). So it would be gmail.whateveryourdomainis.com and would look and work just like gmail, but with your own email address.

If you like, I can probably even help you set it up. It's not that complicated, and there are steps to follow, but I have done it so many times it would just take a few minutes. PM me if you need a hand.

Yeah, the email/calendar/contact system at my work switched to Google about 2 years ago and never looked back. You get pop3, imap, web, android and ios (both native or exchange) support. What's more to ask?

If internet were to disappear, you can bet it's google that remained until the last second.

Been doing a lot more reading on this. Apparently AFMU is ignoring EPP? requests to allow people to transfer domains for about the last 3 weeks. No support tickets have been answered for 3 weeks. Their support, contact and client care areas are all down. Some people are actually wondering if the whole company packed it in and walked out.

SkinnyPupp you have PMS

I'm not sure what's the problem with domain pointing... just go to your registrar, login and point your domain in a new DNS set. Some registrar even give you a mail forwarding for a small fee. So you can still catch your emails while restoring your website.

I think his problem is that afmu probably holds and maintains the domain.

It is inexcusable for a webhost to be down more than about an hour a year total. And an explanation should be giving within minutes of downtime occurring. If your host can't do that, I would switch servers.
