Looking for a decently priced replacement battery for my GF's 2003 XC70. It is supposed to be a size 48, and that does not seem to be a common size on Walmart, CrappyTire, ... websites. Needs to be at least 600 CCA.
I'd like to keep it < $150, preferably ~$100 as she's only going to keep the car a few more years.
Any recommendations where I can get one tomorrow?
The battery was loaded tested a few months ago and was advised to be replaced. Charged it today and it works, yet still going to replace it so she's not stranded again.

Costco would be the place to go for batteries, but not sure if they carry your size though...
I remember shopping around for a battery and costco was $75 before tax compared to Honda which is $100 before tax.
This was for a Honda Civic though.

Volvo
edit: Give Scandia a call, they may be able to help you out.
If you're in Surrey I can ask my uncle to talk to the techs at Jim Pattison Volvo of Surrey

Moderators, I have noticed replies have been deleted from this thread - is it because RS has a Volvo or Battery sponsor?

interstate and polar batteries are good. don't go to lordco unless you have a discount as their pricing is on the high side unless you know how to sweet talk them.
costco is a crap shoot as they only carry japanese and domestic. call ahead before heading to costco as I know they do not carry batteries for german cars.

Just go to Lordco and pick up an ACDelco or an Optima.

Actually I checked their catalog and seems like Costco doesn't carry the size for Volvos.

Weird, or I was very drunk the other night when I posted a followup and didn't hit "submit".
I picked up a battery from a Volvo dealer for $150, good deal for a battery that lasted 10 years and is a direct fit.
