I placed mutiple strips along the sides to cover the inner slidings surface area. I managed to cover up the whole surface area. Depending on size of pads, one of the rolls did both of my pads. I had some left over to do the bottom front/toe area of the pad. It was a bit of trial and error but I found that the most important parts is cover most of the inner pads to reduce friction on the ground.

I wish I took some pictures as reference but I just peeled them off a few days ago.

If you have anymore questions, I'll try my best to answer them regarding them

Kits is about the same age as old Killarney and old Trout Lake. Their ice is about on par with those 2 rinks before they were torn down and rebuilt. But at least its nowhere near as hot as Riley and the dressing room setup is much better.

PICH kind of did this merge with Coast as one of their organizers is now helping run PICH. At the captains meeting, sportcourt was brought up as a big possibility for next summer. Now, it's no secret PICH has gone downhill since VIHL started but they're wanting to clean up their act and start to deliver a better league starting this year.

I played my first roller game in net last weekend, and it was a hell of an experience. No lateral movement, pucks move really fast, plus I sweated out 8 lbs during the game.

Efffing helll! Went all the way to west van from richmond to play a forfeited game... :fuuuuu: what a waste of time and money! I am so pissed off, I was so pumped to play :( I hate how VIHL doesn't reschedule forfeited games. I mean the team that forfeit has to pay a penalty fee anyways..they should use that money to reschedule a game.

i have 74A all across. it's too soft for me. I talked to some guys on my team about running split hardness and they all told me to run softer in the back for better grip while turning

When I played in PICH I found this the best for me: 78a for the back 2 and 76a for the front 2. Anything softer in the back and I chew through and split the wheels really quick. Anything harder in the front causes loss of traction with my strides, but softer than 76a feels too sticky and slow.

With VIHL because the rinks are all over the place grip wise, I just deal with slipping.

edit: i just realized that the revisions were designed for players 200lb + and im like 125lb. might explain why i dont have that much grip.

Played against panchuk's iron team today. I never had a problem with the reffing all year, until now. Terrible.

At one point, we had 4 guys in the penalty box lol. One of our players took a 2 minute misconduct, but ended up being in the box for close to 8 minutes, partially cause the scorekeeper and the refs didn't know how to handle the situation. We even ended up playing 2 on 2 for close to 5 minutes :fulloffuck:. The game ended pretty chippy too (one of their guys took a swing at our player while he was already on the ground).
