McDonalds likely won't get pizza again because firstly there isn't enough oven space and secondly, we are currently pushing nationally / worldwide for our new brand McCafe, with frappichinos and other drinks coming in the future. Mcdonalds used to be all around better. Cheaper, better menu and with shit like playplaces and ball pens to screw around in, it was the place to be in high school for lunch (or even elementary school as a treat from your parents to bring you it or something)

Little Caesars' $5 pizza is ok if the place opens past 10pm. If you're craving pizza after that, then you need to call up one of the smaller pizza shop and have them make the pizza in 20 minutes and pay $20. If Mcdonalds bring back the pizza, it would be a lot more convenient since most places have 24 hour drive through.

U cant expect the price of mc dix to remain low. Everything will get more expensive due to inflation and increasing demand. Besides, if they make their prices so dirt cheap, SOMETHING has to offset it, be it the quality of food ( though its pretty bad alrdy ), or the exploitation of a third party.

the buns are actually microwaved everytime. the cheese stays out in the open until it's used and same goes for the tartar sauce. what probably happened was you got an old, stale piece of fish that had been in the tray too long. i worked at mcd's back in the day (as i'm sure many of us have) so yes, i can definitively say this happens.

i would absolutely call and complain next time and keep your receipt. they generally replace the item for you no questions asked. hell, if random idiot customers can claim using receipts they found on the ground, a paying customer like yourself is most definitely entitled to a quality product.

when i worked in mcdicks, the pizza just started to phase out. they use the same baking ovens for muffins, pies and pizzas. its just a push of a button and the settings change to bake whatever they wanted to.

I work at the one at alderbridge near lansdowne, we did use the microwave for the buns while our steamer was getting fixed, but after getting microwaved, the bun was the exact same as if it were steamed. I'm not sure what the difference is after a while though.

Steamed and microwaved is not the same. It might be for like a whole 15 seconds, but over time, the microwaved buns get hard. If you microwave any bread or pastry for a long time, the result is deadly. After a minute, it turns into a rock.

BTW, the buns, sauce, and even the cheese was OK. It was the fricken fish itself. Besides it being harder than normal, I also noticed it smelled and tasted wrong. Like it was some different type of fish - maybe a dead mouse. LOL

So, I followed everyone's advice and went back to the McDicks in Coquitlam. I showed them the receipt and told them of my not so wonderful experience. Chick tells me that next time I should call as soon as possible. I guess to investigate who was working at the time and stuff. Anyway, the sandwich was OK this time around.

Onion rings at A&W are only good if they're fresh and hot as hell. I only go there for four things:

-Mozza burger
-Chubby chicken sandwich

When it comes to McChicken's or Filet-o-Fish, I always tell them the last time I went it was soggy and old and to make sure I get one freshly made. I also ask that the bun be extra toasted instead of steamed and half sauce - I like it crisp on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside.
