I can't believe it. It is literally less than a minute from my home. I'm in shock...
The streets are now closed. I'm speechless...

I always thought my neighborhood was pretty calm, normal and safe.

I have no clue....I can't wait to find out what exactly is going on though. I'm gonna go walk up the street and find out...
All I hear is cops/sirens now..

My best friend lives near that area and she aaaaalways hears one of the police choppers patrolling every couple nights. Surprised you've never heard it before. She also had a shooting about a block away from her house as well.

That whole neighbourhood is fucked up.

I've heard the choppers before. Never gun shots though. This is messed up. I guess I have to wait until tomorrows news to find out what happened. Sorry guys I can't get anymore info. I definitely don't feel like sleeping now though.

Surrey City Hall, courthouse and jail are a stone's throw away so a police chopper could be flying in for a variety of reasons.

Panorama Ridge is still quite an upscale and safe area of Surrey. Hardly fucked up.

Sorry, by patrolling, I mean circling specific areas for 15-20 minutes minimum at a time. A good friend of mine is an officer who works in Whalley (poor fucker :lol) lets me in on a bunch of calls when they have to bring in the 'copter and they've had to wait a few times for it to finish working around Newton before it can head over.

From the druggies, prostitutes, pimps and overall POOR parts of the neighborhood, it's GHETTO. I worked out there a few times (BC Liquor Store Warehouse). I was working a late night shift and it's probably around 2 am now. I walk out to the parking lot and hop in my truck. As I turn to get onto King George I'm thinking about getting some McDonald's when I hear screaming and yelling. I turn around and there was a homeless guy sleeping in the bed of my truck. I stop and he jumps out and gives me the finger! Welcome to Whalley lol

Idiots. You can't shoot the snow. There's no stopping it.

You're only making the problem worse. Shooting the clouds to stop the snow will only make it snow bullets.

At this point, the police can't do anything. I don't really blame them, its not Minority Report. Can't get in their minds.

I think we're lucky that so far, no civilians have been hit, but now we're shooting people through the plate glass at restaurants, so thats a matter of time.
