Thats due to freezing rain not snow and some of the drivers are retarded like that old Dakota. That infiniti Ex35 drove really well.

Ex35 @ 1:20 just held on his brakes, abs saved him.
He also hit the curb twice.
Now the wagon @ 1:04 got some good drifting action.

Poor trailblazer SS @4:03. I really wanted him to make it. He was doing such a good job dodging the red honda CR-V only to slam into the snow plow.

I know it's hard to react in situations like these but would it have been possible to save the SS by putting it in reverse? It makes me want to head to an empty parking lot and test out different theories on how to save a slide in snow. But we all know how that ends.

The solution was to not go down that hill. According to the author of the video, drivers were warned by other people and cops that going down that road was gonna be slippery. They weren't sliding on snow, either. There's a sheet of ice under that powder.

Jokes aside, I get going down a hill with snow and ice is a bad idea to begin with but I'm just curious to know how different inputs could affect the car. I guess that's what winter driving school is for.

Even the cockiest of all people thought they would make it through. Instead they fall in a ditch or hit a car. :suspicious::suspicious:

Maybe I'm morbid but I always enjoy watching these sort of videos. :lol

I've gone through an accident similar to these (through no fault of my own, fwiw), so I guess I can kinda relate to some of these people.

Just curious, IF your car was just parked on the side of the road in situations like these...and a dumbass bump/crashed into your car. Is that a collision claim? Or comprehensiveness? What if multiple drivers damaged your car? 25% on Dumbass #1, 25% on dumbass #2, 25% on dumbass #3 and so on?

smoothie.

If I'm not mistaken it'll be collision and every dumbass driver will be 100% at fault
