Need IP computer help!

Any help would be appreciated:

My current home internet setup:
-Shaw modem LAN --> Router, which feeds net to a PC via LAN cable, and also into a Powerline which then supplies internet to entire house via power grid.

-On another floor, I have a powerline adaptor that feeds into a WiFi router to provide wifi everywhere.

My problem is regarding a WiFi printer server. Its admin login is 192.168.1.100, and I can log into it and print through it through all computers that are WiFi, but from the PC that is plugged into the first router, it cannot see 192.168.1.100 nor print from it.

Anyone know how I can solve this? Thanks!!

Your upstairs and downstairs IP's are probably mismatched due to having 2 routers in the same network. You'll need to disable the routing features of the wifi router upstairs so everything gets assigned from the router downstairs.

the only device that should have DHCP enabled is the router connected to the shaw modem.

That's probably why. They should be on the same subnet. Your Wifi upstairs and printer should be on 192.168.2.*
