The Mayor should have told the state trooper that he was the chief constable of Norway and what he was doing in the first place, not pull a bullshit move like that afterwards.
"The Mayor told the trooper that he was working as the town's constable and was conducting an investigation into an armed robbery at a gas station. He then headed back to his car with the trooper's license and patrol car registration in hand where he spent the next 23 minutes!
So he got caught at 20 over the limit "investigating" an AR. If he was chasing the guy I can understand. If he was not, then why 20 over? If the "investigation" was so critical that he had to speed, why did he stop the Trooper and spend 23 minutes at roadside? He demands "professional courtesy"( let me off cause I broke the law) for the speeding ticket. If he really was investigating an urgent AR why is he asking for a break? The mayor is so full of BS I can smell it from here. Hope he gets slammed big time for using his government position and a goverment Police vehicle to obstruct justice. He makes Boss Hogg seem smart!
