Talay Thai in Marpole is pretty good and not that expensive. I liked their green curry and the pad kee mao was decent.
Bob likes Thai Food on Main street is another place I would recommend.

just went to bob likes thai food today for the first time. it's interesting -- not like the thai food i've had at other places, like thai house, sala thai, etc. it's definitely more 'main st' type food. i liked it too though.

Go Thai @ E Columbia and Braid.
The green curry was awesome. I used to stop there for lunch when I was in the area.

Thai Pudpong in West Van is pretty good, small family run place.

Red curry prawn #21 or #22 on the menu is good, so is the special order grilled chicken..

Went to Maenam on W. 4th for dinner.
I'm normally not a fan of Thai food but this was not bad in my books.

Aree Thai on Kingsway! Great service and the food is pretty good. They give you complementary homemade ice cream at the end too.
Green Basil on Kingsway is tasty and they also have an entertainment coupon on the book
I liked chili thai house by false Creek. Haven't been there in a few years though. They had entertainment coupons too. Good was better and cheaper than thai house

Craving Thai in Surrey isn't bad. Not Thai owned/operated, but relatively cookie cutter.

Is it just me or is Talay Thai REALLY salty? It was pretty tasty but way too salty. I was thirsty all night.
