Nice wheels, but they still can't beat the originals. Speaking of which, anyone want to buy my SSR reverse mesh?

ah well if they are marketing these for the new porsches and ferraris it makes sense. I thought the target audience were VW owners, and I thought how could they afford to spend $7-8k on wheels when their cars are worth $3-5k.

tbh, for that amount of money, i'd rather get a set of bbs.

I had a set of HRE's the other year I regret never putting on my car, but I'm still on their email list, and when they sent me this Vintage update the other week I immediately thought of old school porsches.

As far as prices guys, yea for 3 piece custom wheels between 1k & 2k per wheel is the typical going rate. Yea it's pricey and aside from also paying a little for the brand name as well I understand but then you gotta consider the fact that they have their own manufacturing facility right there in San Diego SoCal and then also the material they use which is German TUV standard approved T6 aerospace forged aluminum, and that's stuff they make fckin planes out of so it's not gonna be cheap, hell it shouldn't be cheap....
The metal is super strong, and very lightweight, for example my 3 piece rear 12.5 rear 20 inch rims weigh only 25lbs each from what I remember, but what impressed me more about this metal was when my girl hopped an island on a dark rainy Van city night at almost 40km and the wheel never bent or buckled under the hard impact, stayed completely balanced circular and intact, on such a hard impact like that and wheel just looks like it's been parking curbrashed
