World's most expensive hotdog is in Vancouver! (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2012/01/24/bc-100-dollar-hot-dog.html)

http://mscway.net/blog/infostarlette14231-1328030301_14231-middle-infostarlette.jpg

A small storefront on Vancouver’s Granville Street is the home of a rare gourmet treat — the $100 hot dog.
And it could soon be in a small storefront near you.
Dougie Dog is owned and operated by Dougie Luv, who is as ambitious as some of his menu items are exotic.
“We want to expand across the country, we want to share the love,” said Luv. “Why should Vancouver be the only place with the greatest hot dog in the world?"
So, what’s with the $100 doggie, Dougie?
Luv explains that this is no ballpark tube steak. It contains Bratwurst, Kobe beef, truffle oil, a dribble of $2,000 cognac and some Atlantic lobster.
"Pork and cognac, great combination," said Luv.

Vancouver's newest claim to fame is the world's most expensive hotdog.
It comes with a price tag of one hundred dollars.
Granville Street's Dougie Dog's new "Dragon Dog" features a footlong bratworst infused with cognac topped with Kobe beef and fresh lobster.
Owner Dougie Luv says you work hard for your money..so enjoy your life, and try out what he calls the "....most amazing hot dog in the whole wide world".
People we spoke to aren't sure.
They told us 100 dollars is too much to spend!
But they'd like to try it.....because it sounds really good.
The current Guinness record holder sells for 69 dollars at a restaurant in New York City.

:rukidding: What the ... I don't even ...

Anyone willing to take the dive? Let us know how your new plastic $100 bill tasted! :lawl:

Dougie can spray unicorn jizz on it, and sell it for a mint, for all I care. I'll just walk a few blocks and hit up Japadog. It's a fucking hot dog.

apparently you have to order yours in advance now if you want one. Don't know how long the wait list is though.

Yeah, I thought I recognized him. If I remember, his sales volume per square foot was too low for any of them to consider making a deal.

$100 per dog ./. common sense + vanity = perfect for the vancouver market. eg, 2mill crack shacks on the eastside. Oh yeah $100 is a bargain here. :considered:

+1 to this. I've been to the joint once. Stuff's legit.
Not $100-a-dog legit but legit nonetheless.

Guy probably watched too much Food Network and decided to make an outrageously priced comfort food and dye his hair gold. :troll:
