Honestly speaking, what was the longest time you have studied for something without any breaks at all? This means not going to the washroom, not eating, not sleeping.

Without any breaks at all? 20mins... When its studying on the computer i'm always side tracked by facebook or RS, if its through notes and books i'm always checking my phone here and there and get distracted lol

6 hrs+ easily multiple times. All I need is my iPod and headphones. When the iPod has no more batteries, I'll stop.

1 hour maximum. I break up my studying in 30 minute sessions once in the morning, once in the evening a few days before the exam, otherwise I don't bother.

30 minutes :(. Too many distractions, even if I'm not on the computer

~3 hours for school. Now around ~4-5 hours at work.

With washroom breaks or food/water breaks ~16-18 hours at school and work (that is staying at the same place without taking any RS breaks.

I can't hold out any longer than 20 minutes. Suddenly, anything and everything becomes intriguing whilst studying
I can't fathom how people can study for hours and actually remember shit lmfao. If I studied for 3 hours straight (which isn't possible for someone like me), I'd most likely forget a chunk of the information after a day
What works for me is either studying last-minute and forcing everything into my head immediately before a test (I've done pretty well on quizzes + tests using this method :fuckthatshit:), or to study for 30 minutes max and try to put the newly-obtained knowledge into play. The struggle to apply what you've just learned? That's how your brain grows
Most of you will probably think I'm retarded, but everybody's different. Stick with your conventional shit, and I'll do my thing

Student + Dying = Studying

2 hours maybe. I get distracted too easily. This and I take too many breaks in between

i don't know how you can't take any breaks, i need to drink water every 30 minutes or so to be completely hydrated

longest i've gone was probably around 15 or so hours.. two world literature papers in one night, glad i'm done with that lol

i understand you're not the type of person to study long periods... but 1 hour per day before an exam doesn't seem like its enough to soak in material. even at the undergraduate level. but hey, if it works for you, who am i to judge rite?

Never really counted but I prefer to go over stuff lightly throughout the day (10am to 7-8pm), take a nap(just an hour or 1.5 hrs), and rip shit apart from around ~10pm to 4-5am (sometimes later). I love it because everyone's asleep (on facebook, revscene, etc.) and it's just me, my music and my notes. Studying's strangely fun

As always, a fuck ton of caffeine. I've always had mild A.D.D. lol .. I find I can focus a lot easier when I got some caffeine in me

I've sat in the library and studied for almost 10 hours straight during my first year. Ended up reading an entire biology textbook ~1000 some pages.

:heckno:

Just pulled a 2 hour group study session for physics. I think it went alot better than just sitting along trying to memorize formulas:fuckyea:

I've done 6+ hours easy also. I used to sit in my rocking chair and turn the tv on at 6pm and not get up til 12-1am. I study better when tv/music is on, I retain more info. than in silence.

Probably around 5 hrs straight? For finals I try not to cram. I like learning material slowly in bits and pieces not fast in one big gulp.
