I SERIOUSLY hope it doesn't take a clip and a half to drop someone like it did in Farcry 2. That one was okay, but having to spray people with lead was really stupid.

Graphics are too intense! Only can play on lowest settings and the graphics are still good.. The story line is great too. Really enjoy this game

I been playing it since release, I been really taking my time with it, want to enjoy a game other than a sports title thoroughly, this is my warmup for GTA V, it's definitely got me feelin like I been missing out not gaming these last few years

so far I really like it, I do wish the firearms combat was more simulation based like Battlefield 3, it feels too arcadey like Call of Duty.... sure you have to have somewhat of a strategy when you go into battle, but there's not much satisfaction shooting guys once you get to that.
When I play Battlefield Multiplayer, I feel extreme satisfaction knowing I've worked hard to set up the perfect parameters for my attacks and shots, especially with snipers since nothing is really a simple "point and shoot long as it's in your crosshairs it'll catch a bullet type of arcade shit"

Well I'm no expert on FPS games, but from my short time playing both Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty series, the difference is clear, one simulates real life more realistically than the other.
COD is like let me say it in a way that makes sense to me since I rarely play FPS games, I like racing simulations and sports titles.
So COD is like Need for Speed and Battlefield 3 is more like Forza, not quite Gran Turismo yet that Battlefield 4 is supposed to be...

From all the things I've read on the blogs and forums about these two games, that seems to be the general opinion of the gaming community as well.
For a bunch of obvious reasons for example the weapons in Battlefield actually feel like they would in real life, they have weight to them there is bullet drop over longer distances, destructible environments, vehicles etc.....


Anyway, guys about FarCry I gotta ask since I've never played 1 nor 2, were these games mod friendly ? like did the first 2 games in the series get mods from the community or no ? and if yes, how long until we start seeing mods for FarCry 3 ?
I'm really needing that Auto Loot mod for frigs sake, I spend way too much time trying to hover over the dead enemy precisely enough so that I don't swap his weapon for mine accidentally while trying to loot.... just one of those things makes you wonder if game testers were anything more than 14 year old kids

It is engrossing, but WoW is known more for being a perpetual time suck. This is just a really good game that you can get hooked into for hours at a time. Then when you're done, you're done.

That's old but still way more powerful than either console. On the lowest settings (which are still higher than what the consoles use) it should be playable! Try the demo and see how it goes.

Yup considering that games are being designed to run on hardware that is 7+ years old (and already outdated at the time) you don't need much to run today's games.

If you can run a game higher than 1280x720 (or in some cases lower) with the lowest settings, getting more than 20-30 FPS, you are already way ahead of XBOX 360 and PS3 in terms of quality.

Here's a quick setup that will play any game at 720p with medium to high settings (some will run at 1080p easily), and costs less than a PS3 or XBOX 360

I've only played it for about 30 minutes and its been pretty cool.

This alerted the guards and started to shoot at me, in the midst of running away I get bitten by a snake and finally getting killed by running into a group of pheasants.

Restart game, get chased by komodo dragon, jumped into the water, get mauled by shark.

This is definitely no FC2 lol, wildlife is a bigger threat than the enemy.

You have to sneak in and turn off the alarm box first. All the bases have one, once you disable it you can go to town on them.

I'm finding the game too easy even on hard... Definitely a fun game though; I just hunt and expand my map, I've done like four missions.


Edit: Has anyone played the multiplayer stuff or the co-op? Wanting to know if it's worth keeping other than for replaying down the road.
