I did a quick search on "repair"s and repairs in the denim thread and i couldn't find anything local.

i was thinking of sending my stuff to denimtherapy but i'd rather try something local first.

my problem is my crotch, i have flat feet and i pronate so my pants always wear there first.

thanks guys

+1 for Albert's. Rates are pretty cheap considering it's in downtown.

'woob' used Ylium in North Vancouver, BC - Weblocal.ca (http://www.weblocal.ca/ylium-north-vancouver-bc.html). Apparently they can do darning repairs which I assume Denim Therapy does.

If you want another option for mail-in repair try Rail Car Fine Goods, Denim Services (http://www.railcarfinegoods.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1514)

Does Albert's do chain stitching?

No. No one in Vancouver offers chain stitching. The closest place to get it done is Blue Owl in Bellevue, WA.

^not sure about his other services, but a hem is $9 and is done while you wait (takes like 10 mins).

sorry guys my router went kaputz and I had no will to change it.

he only charged me $14 to patch each pair, he did a fair amount of work as he also gave me an entire crotch lining. check out the pics

Based on the before and after I'd say that Albert did a good job there.

So he basically took a patch of fabric and covered up the tears right?

I just took 3 pairs of jeans to the place in Metro by Superstore. 40 dollars for 3 hems and a repair. Hopefully they do a good job, they said the repair should be invisible.
