^ quote from a post on that thread.
I can hear it now: "Dude, cut springs are ghetto. Cut that shit out and space your top hats off the strut tower with three Class 10.9 bolts and a bunch of jam nuts!"

Hahaha you gotta hand it to him, that's pretty creative. He's going to die and possibly take out a couple of other people with him but it's creative.

GabAlmighty

^^^He wasn't boss enough to cut holes in the hood for the mounts.

It's not even creative; pathetically, this is just a dangerous interpretation of another em2 owners approach to going extremely low.

You can tell the person knows nothing about suspensions based on the parts used alone..

450lb ebay coilover springs on stock struts slammed to the ground, cool.

It's sad that he's only about 3/4" lower than me and my suspension works properly, required no mods other than camber bolts and cost under $300 - oh and doesn't look like shit.

I can't see the pics now, but I swore I thought I saw he had Ground Control coil-over sleeves and Hypercoil springs when I looked at the photo's yesterday.

Those pictures are of OBK's car, he's the person who developed the approach used by the ricer kid. OBK's suspension consists of koni yellows, ground control sleeves, hypercoil springs 550/600, hotchkis camber plates, ingalls camber bolts, inverted tie rods and a few other things. Slammed isn't my style, but I've spent a fair bit of time chatting with him on 7th gen forums and he has a very high quality build and is pretty knowledgeable, the complete opposite of this kid.

For reference, OBK's car.

Can't tell if this is his car or pics that he found.

Looks like GC coil-over sleeves and Hypercoil springs to me but the car looks more white than silver so it might not be his car.

Looks like Mindbomber corrected everything.

Thanks.
