It's coming to be spring again and I'm looking for a new hoodie. Not just a regular old hoodie that you can get anywhere but a nice one. I'm looking for more or less plain style, scuba zip/hood, and in black. Any idea's on what brands have nice hoodies other then lulu?

Wings and Horns.
+1 guarantee for wings and horns if you can compensate for the hefty price. If not, I recommend h&m hoodies, some of them can turn out pretty comfortable and very fitting.

All my hoodies are from W+H now and the fit, materials, and construction is spot on. I have a black one from 3 years ago that's getting a bit worn out because I use it all the time. Very much worth the price.

How many washes has it gone through and how is the color holding up?
Any pills?

Oh god I can't remember how many washes over the years. But I never machine dry, always hang dry. Color is still really black, it didn't fade much but the camera makes it look lighter.

if you shop online... you should go on plndr.com. it usually has some really nice brand name hoodies and good sales.
try to find some promotional codes online to make it even cheaper!

I've had a W+H hoody since 2006 and it's still going strong. Great fit and amazing quality. You can buy them at HAVEN - Wings + Horns (http://havenshop.ca/collections/wings-horns)
You might also want to check out Reigning Champ (IIRC also designed by CYC design who does W+H). I have one of their hoodies since 2009 and it's holding up great!

A little off topic, but if you want to keep your darks looking fresh try using Woolite Dark laundry detergent.

Or you can check them out online or in person at Roden Gray in downtown vancouver.

you must got game $$$$$
On a side note, does anyone know when the next w+h sample sale is? And how much lower do the prices go to?
november, but most of the stuff sucks except for a few items that you have to be the first few in line to get.
and every year it gets bigger meaning people lineup earlier.
i think hoodies go for about $60 but stuff tends to get more expensive every year as well.

Yeah I remember when I bought mine at their sale, I went in with $20 and came out with a ton of new clothes including a spruce cardigan and a W+H hoody both for about $5 each. Yeah. That's not a typo.
