Got a new Intel 520 120GB SSD and do a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits edition onto this SSD. I did make sure the bios was set to achi mode and also made a change to registry to enable achi. The PC is running windows 7 Ultimate 64bits with 8GB of RAM.

My hardware specs are as follows :$
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H$
8GB corsair vengeance ram$
AMD Phenom II X 4 4.02 Ghz$
875 PSU 80+ Gold$
Nvidia GTS 450 Video card$
Intel 520 series 120GB SSD$

Using AMD latest ahci driver but when I do the AS SSD benchmark, the scrore and results are not good at all.

Ssd tweaks won't do anything for the speed. Alignment might.

Try installing the AHCI drivers for your chipset
