i dunno. watched reverse cowgirl last night and i thought it was pretty good. i think it really depends on your mood when you're watching. they are pretty hit and miss though. i thought pretty much all of season 15 really stunk

I started watching this again for the first time since I was 18 or so. I did this because I had no idea it was still on, and when I showed amazement at that fact, I got hit with a fail storm.

I started watching this again for the first time since I was 18 or so. I did this because I had no idea it was still on, and when I showed amazement at that fact, I got hit with a fail storm.

It's fucking stupid.

for the most part, the episodes are pretty low brow with a high dick and fart comedic value.

but there are episodes that cleverly incorporate current events. a lot of it is gonna be producers putting out what sells. and unfortunately, comedy that doesn't involve much thought process for the viewer is pretty high up there.

2 things i like about the show:
-how far and detailed the animation has progressed since it's upbringing.
-the fact of the naivety of the kids. they're able to put an awesome spin on things that adults see as common sense.
i think those are 2 of the main factors that have helped the show succeed this far.

on a side note, i watched the rest of season 16 so far the other night, and thought it stunk. but like i said, i think they're just giving the majority what they want. shock value. simple humor. matt stone and tray parker can do far better than that. it's just too bad they don't

The last episode that I thought was funny was the Nascar one. Lots of subtle and not so subtle jabs at Nascar.

They went way, way too far with the whole Imaginationland series where Cartman was driven to get Kyle to literally suck his balls.

the last 2 episodes were actually quite awesome.
but then, any episode where butters is the focus is

The faith hilling one was pretty fucking dumb. The rest I have found to be pretty decent. The zip lining one was hilarious, as was Cartman finds love. The episodes over the last few seasons that always seem to be the best are the ones that focus on Randy or Butters though.
