3m Carbon wrap for interior parts

I know the topic of wrapping things in 3m film has been beaten to death on the forums here but has anyone had any experience in regards to applying 3M di noc wrap on soft interior plastics and faux leather ? I'm finding that when people climb into my car they scuff the living shit out of my door panels (especially when chicks wear heels). When taking it off does it damage or leave any residue on leather or soft plastic ?

it won't stick well enough and it's going to look disgusting as soon as you leave it your car in the sun someday. it'll bubble up, wrinkle, shrink, etc. it needs a good base to adhere to (plastic, fiberglass, etc) in order to stick to whatever you're trying to wrap

It doesn't leave any damage on the parts, and 3m di noc as well as scotchprint doesn't leave residue. However, if your friends beat the living hell out of your door panels, don't wrap it lol. They'll most likely make a rip in the vinyl eventually or make it peel

when i removed di-noc from my interior trim, it ripped off the paint with it. I cant speak for the scotchprint version one though
