What's the best program to make a boot USB? WinToFlash?

That's the one I used. Worked OK for me. But if you're already using that one why do you need another?

^just download another one. Most windows ISO out there now are bootable when burnt onto the disc.

Back on topic, I never got winxp to boot successfully on a usb stick before.

Weird. I used the same tool from the op and it worked fine. Mind you the instructions need to be followed to the letter.

I used the program, made the usb but I haven't tested it yet because I'm waiting for my server. The reason why i was asking is on some of the blogs it seems like people are having issues so I thought I might try another program just in case but it sounds like this program works fine.

What about this? The program is directly from Microsoft

Microsoft Store Online (http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool)

As long as there's a proper MBR on the flash key, I usually just mount the ISO, and use XCOPY with /E /Q /H switches to copy everything over from the image to the flash.
