I can't remember if it was last year or the year before, but when I went on the final Sunday (incidentally, it was another "Fairchild Chinese Day" with @ 1/2 price), the place was packed with Chinese folks as expected. Another thing I noticed was a lot of manufacturers have already ran out of brochures and SWAG.

I went today with a couple of friends. To make the 15 dollar ticket worth it, we looked everywhere for free stuff, lol. A lot of things are completely gone, I looked for the so called "Scion Yoyos", none left... You might get some posters, and tote bags though @_@. All in all, I actually prefered last years show. Still worth checking out. I'll be putting a video together, incase anyone who doesn't attend wants to see what he/she missed or didn't miss out on, lol.

The Chrystler section was giving out free chamois! Got a free NSX poster from Acura, bag from Mitsubishi, signed up for a few contests to win either a gas card or cars. Not much, but at least there were some interesting cars to see; friend of mine's almost dead set on selling his Lancer for an Abarth after seeing it haha.

Thanks to OpenRoad for the free tickets. I went to the VIAS yesterday at 7pm and it was PACKED. I think the show was as good as last year. Unfortunately there was not enough free swag to get.

Highlights:
You can sit in the CLS63 AMG. It is so nice inside.
You can sit in the C63 AMG. Same thing.
You can sit in 370Z and other mildly expensive cars. I like this part a LOT.
The new Genesis Coupe is a lot better in person. I like it.
The wheel gap on the BRZ and FRS...4x4 status.

Pictures of some sports cars at the Auto Show. -definitely a better show than last year in terms of cars available to view.

Highlights: Ferrari 458 Italia with stereo installation by Avex. One of the business partners at the Avex booth said his business partner installed a $90,000 stereo system on the 458. Four subwoofers, in addition to the amplifiers, LED lighting etc.

I asked the guy what car he drove. He said "The Bentley Flying Spur parked next to the Italia".

Lamborghini Aventador. What an Italian beast!

BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. A beauty. This car is stunning.

Honda Accord Hybrid coupe. Supercharged engine. -had Vossen wheels on it.

Lexus LFA, Audi R8 V10, and the Mercedes SLS AMG roadster are also at the show.

When I was checking the car out, the guy next to me was educating his SO about how Garson/DAD was what the Aujuny booth was ripping off.

Speaking of the Aujuny booth, I picked up a catalog from their coffee table to browse and got yelled at by a C-lai rep who only knew the word 'NO'. Stared me down as I checked out their shitty seat and Rota'd Fit. Left before she equipped herself with a feather duster.

LOL I was screwing around with the hazards, HID and brakes on the Land Cruiser and Lincoln MKX. Afterwards chatted with a Lincoln rep about Z33's and S-chassis'.

I did see donut, jpark, jgresch, Vdub604 working the kia booth and I went with VDUB333 although he ditched me...

I never really looked in to them before but these new plug in hybrids are ridiculous! Close to $40k for a car that could really compare with a yaris :/ Chevy volt was pretty cool but the leaf and the imiev(?) just feel so unsubstantial.

As ugly as it was the chevy orlando impressed me with the sheer amount of room in the rear seats in such a small/reasonable package.

Jean stained leather seats on the fiat 500 gucci were pretty funny

Yup. When I walked in and looked towards the reception desk, I saw a guy dusting the doorway to his office (which was directly behind the desk) with his back to me. I stood there and stared for a while like an idiot contemplating whether I should say something but then a salesman approached me to help get my ticket. like everyone else, he asked for my name, scanned thru a long list for mine, crossed it off and handed me my ticket.

I wanted to, but I thought it was locked up. When I got there they had some performance/promo where the male Fiat rep was seducing the female one with the car's specs...anyways, I thought the tC's shifter was messed up. I could only go from 1 -> 3

I like that accord quite a bit, minus the paint and unnecessary tinting of lights.

Really loved the blue paint on the jaguar, and nice to see the 6series bmw sedan, that matt brown was quite interesting and took time to get use to.

i went twice but i wasnt too impressed with the size and selection, last year they had lamborghini and ferrari come as well, this time all we had was MCL.

It is the CSX replacement, and yet again a souped up Civic. Interior's not too shabby though, imo.

Told the rep, but he said ok, we will get it fixed

It just blows me outta my mind how people can wreck cars from just sitting in them. In the TL, the whole left part of the driver's side under-dash cover thingy was ripped off on saturday.

Also lots of static electricity in the building, got shocked like 100 times tryin to open the car doors.
