The gift card normally can be used on anything but I just wouldn't be shocked if they made some exception if this deal is a go. Either that or the amount for the 50% gift card will be a low preset amount like buy a $20 gift card for $10 or something. We shall see tomorrow!

Nah $20 was the max I would ever expect even if it wasn't Petro. $20 is typically the max you would ever see for the whole pay half full x amount deal.

If it's too good to be true, it probably it is when it comes to online deals.

-just tried buying the Petro Canada gas card from dealfind.com. All 100 cards sold out by 9:04am.

It's not that good of a deal. A limit of 1 card per person, 1 for a friend.
-only a $10 gas card at the price of $5. The gas savings are minimal with that small a denomination.
