It's that time of year again, Dulux Paints (formerly ICI Paints) is hiring for full time and part time staff. Full time means 40 hours or close to 40 hours a week in the spring and summer months and less in the winter. Perfect for students. Duties include helping customers in person or on the phone, mixing paint, custom color matching, putting stock away, cleaning, merchandising, shipping, receiving etc. Knowledge of paint an asset but not required. Will train. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have a pair of steel toe shoes. The following 3 stores are hiring: Kingsway in Burnaby, Kingsway in Vancouver and the one on Boundary Road in Vancouver and possibly more stores. Pay usually starts at around $11 an hour. It usually is but it does get really busy in the late spring, to early fall seasons

Depending on store and their needs, your work hours are probably 8-4 or 9-5. There are earlier shifts like 6:30 am start but the exp guys get those shifts.

All stores open at 6:30 am and close at either 5 or 5:30 pm
