WANTED: flip phone for Fido

Trying to setup my mom with a pay as you go cell phone with fido. I'm wondering if anyone on RS has an old flip phone they want to get rid of or sell for cheap ($10-15). It must work with fido - it must be a flip phone (nothing fancy, no BB pearls). It would be nice if the front of the phone had an LCD so she can see who is calling her and pick up/not pick up accordingly.

Go walk into any Walmart / Superstore / etc's "Electronic" department.

You'll find a range of prepare phones for around $60-80. But they usually also:
- comes with $15-20 in prepaid voucher
- the sim card (Worth $15-20?)
- depending on store....prob another discount on top of the original price. Trying to clear their stock.

Much better than buying used.

Most of the cheapie brands have one in that range as the above poster said. Might wanna check out the plans to see which one you go with. I remember getting one a few years ago and Virgin was cheapest based on minimal talk time.

I have one, Sony Ericcsson W300i, very old, but I don't think you'd want it. Considerable fades and dents in it, i think it would be better off if you set up the $75 one, a lot better than buying used.
