^Probably with people not watching the gate close before they drive off. YOu won't believe the amount of people who do that and then they complain how their car got broken into. IDIOTS!

But the good thing is a lot of concierges will catch it nowadays and have strata fine them. Cameras are everywhere..I don't know how they think they can get away with it.

But in this case, from what I know a lot of the complexes there don't have much security as they are older buildings. Or maybe kids with too much time on their hands. Whatever it is, hope the owners get justice.

So are these people covered by ICBC? I had my tires slashed a year or 2 ago and ICBC didn't cover. They said tire damage is not under their policy b/c anyone with bald tires can take advantage of them.

Yes it's covered under comprehensive if it's proven it was vandalism. But ICBC will deduct depreciation from the cost of the replacement tires. So someone with bald tires won't get a brand new set.
