Hey guys,

So I'm having quite the dilemma on my hands. I've been searching for 18" stock Lexus IS 350 rims for quite a while now but have had no luck.

Anyways, I saw this new posting a couple days ago but unfortunately the rims are slightly damaged:

SC (4) OEM 2006 IS350 18" Rims - Club Lexus Forums (http://www.clublexus.com/forums/wheels-and-tires-classifieds/630509-4-oem-2006-is350-18-rims.html)

If I do get them, I'm planning to powder coat them. However, one of the rims is mildly distorted (seller says only cosmetic damage but i'm somewhat skeptical) and I'm afraid this is going to cause a problem.

What do you guys think? I'm really hoping these issues are merely cosmetic but definetely don't want to get my hands dirty with non-functional rims. Thanks in advance!

If you're worried, just pass.

If you're gonna powder coat them, a shop can easily fix that at the same time.

I've bent the lip on 1 of my rims before (worse than the one in your pic). A shop fixed it, rode on it, no issues.

that little bend shouldn't be noticable, but since they're all curbed anyways, for that price, send all 4 of them to panthers or greens or whoever to have them all factory like new condition

Don't worry so much, he's being honest posting up such detailed pics he's not a scammer........... if you're willing to spend the $150 to completely refinish the wheel then go for it.

I had a couple of my Gram Lights forged wheels damaged when I ran over a tow truck block in the dark a year ago... one of the wheels wasn't even ROUND anymore and Green's fixed it!! I couldn't believe it... that little lip nick is nothing.
