i love everything related to JJ Abrams.. so definite must watch for me. cloverfield, super 8, lost, mi4, alcatraz, alias, person of interest, fringe.

damn just realized how much of his stuff i like.

edit: aww shit its gus from breaking bad! DEFINITELY watching this.

Anyway watch the premier episode yet?

I thought it was cheesy and corny. The sword fight scenes, the music, the whole plot. Feels like Terra Nova except with less CGI. Anyways, crap show

Hard to say yet. First episode was pretty disappointing but it has potential to be great, but could also easily bomb lol. Just wait a bit and we shall keep you informed if it turns out to be a keeper or turn out to be Alcatraz and Terra Nova.

Ya this show just gives me the same vibe as Lost, which was great the first season but just got tiresome and annoying never answering any questions over and over again with a shitty payoff.

Yes, he was the exec Producer for Alcatraz as well. Too bad, I really wanted to watch this show but will give it a chance. However, I will have it on a short leash.

The first episode was fairly decent and they are at least building characters quick rather then waiting a couple episodes.

Absolutely love JJ Abram shows and movies.

I watched the pilot - some parts were interesting but I felt it lack the buildup, suspense, drama of a great pilot (when you compare it to Lost).

I'll watch the show but it's on a very short leash.

The story line really picked up and I really enjoyed it. This is turning into a great show with some nice twists so far.

Yup, garbage. For a post-apocalyptic scenario, everyone is pretty damned clean and pretty. Cheesy as hell acting, lame story. This show is going down.

Upside, the lead actress was cast from Vancouver, I'm happy for her.

EXACTLY what I was going to say. Compare this "15 years after the apocolypse" to Walking Dead's <1 year after the apocolypse. It's just so stupid. Even the fucking SLAVES are all groomed and pretty.

Good for her but too bad her character is a fucking annoying moron. "Oh don't kill him in cold blood" even though the fucking guy tried to CHOP YOUR UNCLE'S HEAD OFF and will TRY AGAIN AS SOON AS HE CAN.

Just stupid. This show sucks.

the network its on probably has to do with its clean/colourful look

because we've seen Kripke do a post-apocalyptic world in Supernatural (one of the episodes was a What If? deal) and it looked good

Could be a really good show, but HBO has ruined me for almost all other TV. Network shows seem so clean and polished (too goody goody) compared to what i've gotten used to watching (Entourage, Thrones, Walking dead, etc...) I like to see characters speaking like real people, with cussing and and stuff mixed into their speech, more realistic.

The trailer reminded me of flashforward in a big way, and here's the thing with a show like this: you have one shot to hook people.

Lost pulled it off...I don't know how, but it did. Flashforward should have but didn't. Terra Nova and the rest obviously fail.

With even this trailer, it looks cheezy as hell. I don't really care about effects and such, if you have good acting that can make it worthwhile.

i just watched the first 4 eps, i could see it playing out wonderfully hence why im willing to watch the episodes but some things are too silly

and someone really needs to put that chick in her place im constantly hoping her uncle would slap her

I'm actually really enjoying this show. It's moving a lot quicker and it has a way better plot then flashforward.

Charlie is such a fucking moron. She always does the WRONG goddamn thing.

Stupid shit she did just in the last episode:

1. Follow Gus Fring after their encounter. Against instructions, against common sense. Her excuse that he ran into her was a poor one.

2. Letting the Jason kid out of his jail cell in order to ask him to help -- It was chain link. They could have asked him through the fence instead of letting him out first.

3. Running at Gus Fring with a knife when they were on the train. Yes... why don't you attack this highly trained individual. You have a goddamn crossbow. Did I miss a scene where she lost it or something? Where did it go?

Not impressed so far but it hasn't been bad enough for me to take it off my watch list. I'm still following it but it's not one of those omg I can't wait to watch Revolution this week type of thing unlike Homeland, Walking Dead and other shows on my list.

I stopped watching season 1 after a few episodes, but it seems like season 2 got a bit darker and bloodier, will keep up with s2 and see how it goes.

It seems boring now.. Season 1 was ok... it got a bit boring towards the end of season1.. the first 2 eps were meh.. I was listening to it while surfing the net.. haha...

It's starting to get a lot better with the Illuminati starting to tie in with the story line, just trying to build the story right now.
