Im not sure indian is available, our year old Garmin 255W has both chineses and many others
When you say Chinese and Indian, which dialects are you looking for?
You really should be specific here since both have quite a few dominant dialects.

i know for the 2011/12 tomtoms and garmins they have both canto and mando dialects, in both simplified and traditional writing.
and since i can't read indian, i can't confirm if it has both hindi and punjabi dialects, but they should.
also both garmin and tomtom offer free downloads for languages.
I sell GPS' so i've seen it.
my garmin has that option, what i know it has mandarin and cantonese, not sure what indian though

pssst get a nokia phone
as for devices like tomtom etc you should be able to download any language and install it i know there are websites where you can manually download languages to install on your unit (not sure about pre-installed languages)
you could even download cartoon/movie star voices

I can offer you a Garmin unit in a foreign language. Entire transaction will take place in Russian.
